HTC Corporation has unveiled its newest handset device. The new HTC Touch HD is a smartphone that includes a large 3.8 inch wide-screen WVGA display.
"Today, Widescreen TV, Internet and video have become the standard, so there is no reason to compromise when you leave the house, the Touch HD delivers that uncompromising multimedia and Internet experience," said Peter Chou, president and CEO HTC Corporation.
The new cell phone also has a standard 3.5mm audio jack. The audio jack is built for high-performance headphones for the best possible sound quality. The mobile handset also has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus. The camera phone offers users stunning clarity and vibrant colors.
The HTC Touch HD also features the new TouchFLO 3D user interface. The interface provides the user with quick and intuitive access to messages and content.
The Touch HD offers download speeds of up to 18 times faster than standard 3G. The device can render Web sites more quickly and in full-screen width. This allows the user to navigate more easily.
The smartphone will be available later this year.
