Microsoft to Include Anonymous Browsing Feature in IE 8
Microsoft will include a way for IE users to browse anonymously on the Web. The new anonymous feature is called InPrivate and will be available for Internet Explorer 8.InPrivate for Microsoft Corp's IE 8 will get several security enhancements upon its upcoming release. The feature will allow users to suspend identity information and Web browsing history. The feature will clear the browser cache with one mouse click and will temporarily suspend all automatic caching functions. Apple Safari already has such a privacy feature and Mozilla is already considering it for Firefox 3. InPrivate will be available in IE 8 Beta 2 by September 1. The final release for Internet Explorer 8 is in November.

While Apple Safari already has a similar anonymous feature, Microsoft is allowing IE 8 users to suspend Web browsing history and other identifying information. Mozilla has also considered such a feature for its Firefox 3 browser.
