Microsoft will include a way for IE users to browse anonymously on the Web. The new anonymous feature is called InPrivate and will be available for Internet Explorer 8.

InPrivate for Microsoft Corp's IE 8 will get several security enhancements upon its upcoming release. The feature will allow users to suspend identity information and Web browsing history.

The feature will clear the browser cache with one mouse click and will temporarily suspend all automatic caching functions.

User identity is also protected with the new privacy features in Internet Explorer 8. With InPrivate, IE doesn't store any cookies, form passwords, search queries or words typed into the address bar. It also deletes temporary Internet files from any browsing session when the privacy feature is enabled.

Apple Safari already has such a privacy feature and Mozilla is already considering it for Firefox 3.

InPrivate will be available in IE 8 Beta 2 by September 1. The final release for Internet Explorer 8 is in November.
