Stephen Lee from Seinfeld dies after suffering a major heart attack in his Los Angeles apartment.
According to Examiner, Lee was the inquisitive contractor who installed new kitchen cabinets on the show. The actor’s unexpected death is touching the hearts of many fans. He also played mobster and police informant Tony B. on several episodes of CBS’ “Nash Bridges.”
The news that Stephen Lee from Seinfeld dies is still shocking to his friends and family. The Englewood, New Jersey, native began his acting career in the early 1980s on dramas like Hart to Hart, Hill Street Blues, Remington Steele and Scarecrow and Mrs. King.
His film credits included WarGames, La Bamba, Burlesque and The Negotiator.
Although Stephen Lee from Seinfeld dies, he also remembered for his recurring roles on the short-lived series Gung Ho, based on the Michael Keaton movie, and City, a comedy created by Paul Haggis that starred Valerie Harper.
Stephen Lee from Seinfeld also did a great deal of TV work, with credits dating back to “Hart to Hart” in 1981 and “The Dukes of Hazzard” and “Who’s the Boss?” in 1984. Lee died at the age of 58.
Stephen Lee portrayed the Big Bopper in Ritchie Valens biopic La Bamba and also appeared in the movies RoboCop 2 and Burlesque, but he’ll perhaps be best remembered as the contractor hired to install kitchen cabinets in Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment.
Lee also played Tom Arnold in 1994 TV movie Roseanne and Tom: Behind the Scenes. Although Stephen Lee from Seinfeld dies, he is also known for his debut in a 1981 episode of Hart to Hart and became a TV staple in shows like Hill Street Blues, Family Ties, Roseanne, Quantum Leap and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
