Cisco Systems Inc has conducted a study of more than 2,000 information technology employees. The study surveyed IT professionals in 10 different countries. The results unveiled a top 10 list of behaviors that contribute to data loss.

The survey also unveiled that the loss of network security behavior varies by country and culture. For instance, 42 percent of Chinese information technology employees says they had changed security settings. However, only 26 percent of Brazilian workers changed network security settings.
